About Dr. Ratliff
Dr. Megan A. Ratliff DDS MS brings science, artistry, and compassion to her practice as a leading periodontist in Northwest Chicago.
She studied at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a dental scholar. Dr. Ratliff completed both her bachelor in science and doctorate in dental surgery in just seven years.
Following dental school, she attended the University of Louisville. Here, Dr. Ratliff obtained her certificate in periodontology and masters in oral biology.
Dr. Ratliff became a diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology following residency. In 2009, she won the Prestigious Billy M. Pennel Research Competition for her clinical research in bone regeneration.
Dr. Ratliff is treasurer of the Midwest Society of Periodontology. She sits on the clinical innovations committee for the Academy of Osseointegration.
An active philanthropist, Dr. Ratliff serves on the Board of Advisors for Catholic Charities and the Aid for Women programs committee.
Dr. Ratliff is the current Midwest District Governor of the Melges 24 sailing fleet. In her spare time, Dr. Ratliff enjoys singing opera, sailing, and playing the violin.
A polished public speaker and educator, Dr. Ratliff is frequently asked to deliver seminars on a variety of topics to dental professionals and the general public.
