Why focus on women's dental health?
Four fundamental stages of a woman's life can profoundly affect our dental health. But what are these areas? And what do we, as women, need to know? How can we take control of our own oral health at every stage of our lives?
I'm Dr. Megan Ratliff. In my periodontal practice in Northwest Chicago, I often work with women who are surprised to learn that hormone fluctuations can impact our dental health.
Women don't need dental health surprises. We need to know what to expect. When women have clear and accurate information, we can manage our own dental health. We also need to know when it's time to see a qualified dental health professional.
My mission with WomensDentalHealth.com is to help women learn about dental health at every stage of our lives.
